Stephen Jones
Stephen, one of the founders of Aurelia Financial Planning, began his career in financial services in 1995 with Standard Life. In 2005, he joined Acumen & Trust, one of the leading independent Irish financial intermediaries, becoming Director and Head of the Wealth Management team in 2016.
Stephen, a QFA and RPA, combines a strong technical background, with a focus on the delivery on quality advice to all of the firm’s clients.
Ciara Jones
Ciara, also one of the founders of Aurelia Financial Planning, commenced her career in 1995 with Standard Life before joining IIB Finance Ltd in 2000 as a Sales Executive.
Ciara joined Acumen & Trust in 2013, where she developed a bespoke client relations management system, enabling the delivery of consistent and responsive service to clients. She became Head of Client Services and managed both the customer services team and Acumen & Trust’s relationships with multiple financial institutions.
A QFA, Ciara’s focus remains on the delivery of strong service to clients, and the development of systems to enable such service to be handled in as efficient manner as possible.
Colm Brennan
Colm Brennan, director of Aurelia Financial Planning Solutions Ltd, is a qualified Tax Consultant having begun his career with KPMG in 1986. Colm subsequently moved to financial intermediary, Davy Planlife and then in 1996 co-founded Acumen & Trust, a financial advisory firm based in Sandyford, Dublin. The firm, of which Colm became CEO in 2007, specialised in investment, pension, and tax advice and grew to manage €1.1 billion in assets for 350 corporate clients and 1,500 private investors. In February 2020, the company was acquired by Irish Life.
